The Public Events

The publish of a newspaper
I had done back my own city on April 28Th , 12o'clock . So I went to my bed early , and when I got up , it is almost 10o'clock . I then watched the TV and saw a message on TV . It says that in the "He Bin" park , it will be hold a both news conference and opening sitting of a new newspaper's publish . So I think if I go to this park , I will finish my portfolio quickly .

So, I went to that park and saw what was happening . I found out that there were so many people and I couldn't see very clearly what was happening in ! So, I tried my best to go inside of the crowded people . As what I saw , a group of people were sitting on some chairs , and each of them was reading a newspaper named " The weekly of townspeople" , and all of them were reading carefully and thinking about something . Then the entrepreneur asked them to give some advice . Most of them said that the newspaper were very useful and helpful , and gave some not important suggestions , I did not think their ideas were useful because the company always like to make some bogus event to get supporters . However , they also had prepared the dancing programs , not so many but interesting , let me know many things of the society .
I know what I would do is : Trying to get the supporters and be better and better , this is what I learned from the Event , what the company did edified me .
So,I want to tell you that everything is good for you , except you do not want to learn .

Act in a performance

I think this one must be in a clearly thinkness that everybody had done this one . Because we had done it before many many weeks , so I only need to tell you what happened and remind you of this performance . The performance is in the Christmas day .
I had prepared it everyday before we went on the stage , but the problem is the group members we had :Jim and Kevin , it is not fair , we did not have the outgoing friends . So this is the reason why I support teacher to choose the group members . This is not very difficult for us to understand and follow , we need everybody and every group fair , this is your responsibility .So , when we went on the stage , most of the students laugh and laugh , but we have to perform , it is too bad ! Why I do not want to act , this is the reason , they had the problem in there brain .
I know you want to have a convinent way to give us marks , but this is not well for us . Nobody support us sowe will get the lowest mark !!! So I did not like this and did not want to remember it .This is not a good miss.
However , this is the "Acting in a performance" I had , you had many pictures of it , you know that , and I did not take photos .

Academic Showcase

I think the greastest group work I had did is-----The fashion show group of Art class . Our group members are : Fiona , Chester , Matt , Arva and me . My opinion is , this is very good because all of us like fashion things except me , so they know how to make a cloth , and know where to make it . My job is not relaxing and give me a bad feeling . Why ?Because I had to write 6 asseys about the clothes we designed , It is crazy !
However , untilthe result , we got 51 points and it is the highest mark of the 7 groups .Also , the Planning class's Making food group is also us , and the "Ai Xin"group . I want to tell you about the donation . You know everybody give you the 100Yuan money , so you are angry about it , but we really have no money to pay it , our idea is , give all the gain to the charity, but I lost money(80 Yuan) , and they made very little money . It is the problem . And also , I borrowed other's money to pay the 20 Yuan , I almost lost 100 Yuan , it is the problem . You know , each month I only have 1000 Yuan , all the payment needs me to pay . So I did not have extra money .
We had good results of each works , and we had a good time when working together . So , I learn that everybody needs his good friends around him and work together , it makes a high power !

Volunteer

As you know , we need to write the volunteer work as two reports , so I want to tell you what I did then-----the second volunteer work in public .

I thought you must forget what I serviced for a company last time , I helped them sweep the floor , and clean the floor , this is what I did at that time . When I was very tired , I would like to read a book , and had a great lunch there .So I do not think I chose wrong . My opinion is , I just want to finish my volunteer time , and as soon as possible . You know , I was not in NanJing , I was in my hometown , so what I want to tell you is , I always want to make my job realxing , but this holiday's works are so many that I was very unhappy!

Here , I told you that I did not do any deep work , but I really helped them , and made the room and yard cleaner . Maybe you want to know my feeling . I would tell you , I did this work for 8 hours and did 2 times on this holiday (From 9 to 13o'clock) , I usually write my homework and read books sometime , not all the time doing works .

Also , I felt very boring and not realxing when I was doing things . Alough my feeling was not very well , I continued doing wrokings and never give up !

The volunteer time

At that time , what I want to tell you is , I like this activity and I want to do it more and more . As you can know , we did the different volunteer work , and we took pride in what we did ,the only one problem is-----we always like to do one job for a long time , so you can know it very clearly ,what I want you know is ...

At first , the first one volunteer work is -----teaching the primary school for 2 hours , it is very useful for both me and the students who I teach . My meaning is , the students can get the knowledge , and we can get the volunteer time that we want . So, what I taught the little and shy boy is-----speaking the English words and know the"Language,People,Country"of each country . The little boy is very shy that I couldn't hear clearly , and I felt boring ,tired.You know , almost all the words the boy didn't know how to read , so I was very surprising about it , I told him how to read this word and how to read that word many times . Although I did these things, I think he will forget what I've told him in 3 minutes .

However , this is very useful and helpful for the little boys and girls , maybe you are a kind person and want to improve Chinese English speaking skills, this action is good for everybody , both you and me .

The club time

I think the easiest job for me in the portfolio is ----- the club time . I am not very responsible for my club . Why ? You must know the first guitar group in GCA . I do not want to join it because I think it is very "ma fan" for me , so I do not want to be a "star" on that stage . The group members must be laughed so I do not want to show myself because I will be nervous .

At that time , what I want to tell you is : I went to the guitar 4 times , and it is in Tuesday every week . We played new songs and practice the songs in level . We finished other club time always from 5o'clock to 6o'clock . The time is not so boring but no practicing at all , you know why? We usually talking and laughing at all the time , no real learning , and I think , if I want to improve my guitar skill , I need to do more practices, not only once a week, it is not enough .

Also,what I have learned from the activity is-----I need to do more and more guitar practice , and I know this is a good feeling of doing things with friends . That is , I also need to continue my hobby , never give up .

The physical work

When I am doing the physical works . My feeling is in such an excited attitude . You know , when I am doing the physical work , I think we need to do it every day and it is really good for us very much . Also , I have done it not only once or twice ,but almost every day when I am in home .

My parents always feel surprising why I do these strange things every day ,but I tell them that it is my responsibility to finish them , I have to do it with no choice . The problem is , in the 1st day , my hometown was raining , so I can not play any sports . However , the next day I play it for 3 hours ,the date is April29th . I felt very tired when I finished playing badminton for hours , I have known that everything is not easy if you do it for a long time . Although I felt boring if I played sports , you know why ? I think it is a special mission for me , I need to do it very well and with no against .

And , as you know , we had a sports day last Friday , so , it is also 3 hours for my physical work time . I did 4 different kinds of sports during that time .I played ping-pong balls , and did 3 another leadership games .The first one is going through many lines without touching it at all .It is so difficult that I past this part for almost 8 minutes .The other mission is playing blind football !!! It is not difficult but you need the skills to play it , the rules are : Each group (2members) should hit one ball until in the goal . One person can not see anything and the other one should not touch the ball , his job is telling the "blind" person how to hit the ball , where the ball is and the force to hit it . And we did not win this game , it has 5 groups in , I always made mistakes , but it doesn't matter . The final sport is : Put a chopstick and fit it into a bottle . It is so easy to fit 5 chopsticks into 5 bottles . I think we can not be the No.1 of the "Sports Day Activity" , for we had 3 zeros .

However ,I liked the sports very much , and I palyed it better and better ,I love it .

The exhibition with friends

Last Saturday , after John , Sam , Jenesis and I eatingt the French food , we went to the Nanjing Museum for our portfolio . You know , the museum was looked like a palace . However , inside was the modern things . Jenesis was very similer to here , for he always visits here for many times. So , he let us to see this museum . We were lucky because the ticket was free , but the truth was : There was nothing significative . We could see that it was depend in several parts . Lacquer , silk thread and the modern artwork . We went to the modern art hall , we could see many colorful cows there , why ? Because this year is the 'cow year' in China , we have 12 animals to represent the years .

Also , we went to the cloud brocade hall . In there , we could many different kinds of clothes , it showed us the king's clothes and many dry goods from the folklore , you must know that the old China was famous by the spin . However , it becomes a kind of sensibility in our heart , we were pround of China(Excepting Jenesis , he comes from Korea) .

At present , I think you should know more about what we've seen . It had many valuable things there , such as the Rose Quartz Drgon-headed Censor , Jadeite Screen , Jade S-shaped Ornament With Carved Decoration , and the Screen with Flower and Bird Design Inlaid with precious Stones . From these names , we could know that they must be very fancy , it's right , I promise they were , but I couldn't tell you all the values there . So, what we had seen was these . I hope that others can go to that museum .

Eha , you know what ? I thought it's so boring to go to this museum . In general , many people go there just for rest . We could buy foods , watch TV and play games , do many other things . So , maybe we could think about many things else. We went to thid museum for what ? Just for the poor planning points ? No , I suggest that we could do something else ,but not waste our time , you should know that we went to the museum only for the portfolio , but not others . However , we could know that visiting the museum is good for our studies , we will know many things except our school . We need something else to do , maybe can do something with friends , also study in the library , I do not want to go to the museum .

That's all , I want you understanding my meaning , but the truth is we don't need to do this mission , never . So , just for fun . I hope you could go to a museum ,too.

The foreign restaurant

On last Saturday , I went to a restaurant that is called as 'Le Shang' , the food all in there was just the French food . Oh , the real name in Franch is called as 'Les Sens' , we did not know it is a French name or not . The address in there is next to the Nan Jing University , generally everyone knows this university in NanJing , it's a small restaurant , and , how to discribe ? It's very ethereally and noiseless , you know in the Western restaurant , the basic manner is keeping quite , so , let's begin to talk about the food .

We could look at the list of the food , the food was not in such many kinds , so we... Oh ,I had to tell you who went to there with me . Here , they are 3 students from 10-C , John , Jenesis and Sam , why I went with them ? Sam is my friend , and he asked me to go with them , I was so happy that can go with them , also I need to finish my work , so I agreed this suggestion . Now , I chose a piece of beefsteak and the soap of potato , Sam chose the same things with me . However , John and Jenesis chose the same things-----a share of pasta and the roti apple , I thought the pasta was more delicious than the beefsteak , you know , but I did know , why French pay so much important attention to the potato ,I like it , haw-haw .

Ok , now I will tell you the manners in tables . The two women there told us that unless you had important things , you are not allowed to speak to others . Also , the people should put their tablewares on the dishes when you finish the eating . That's it , I have to tell you , if you want to go to this restaurant , you could call me , no problem !I also need to thank for Sam , he gave me the chance to do this portfolio . I also want to tell others that , please try to go to the Western restaurant , it is good for your foreign language ,I promise .

The volunteer time

The first time to see this word 'volunteer' was at the beginning of last term . At that time , all of the clubs wanted to find more and more members . As what I wish , I joined the volunteer club . However , it would be a surprising news because I did not take part in every activities that my club hold . Why ? The most important problem was , I changed my phone number ! Oh , but I also did volunteer work myself ! I took part in the volunteer work of the basketball match (I was the cleaner!). And I also helped Ms.hardly to paint the wall that had been used in the drama . The most active thing which I did was-I helped a new drivers' school to clean their dirty ground . Now let me tell you the details .

In fact , what I needed to do during the basketball match time was very easy . I just needed to pick up the 'white rubbish' , walk and walk , if I saw anything special on the floor , my job was :Picking it up ,then throwed it out . I worked between 9 o'clock a.m and 1 o'clock p.m . Maybe you will feel fun that I went out to buy KFC for Mr.sexbeeth twice ! One was the breakfast and the other was the lunch . This 'extral job' cost me a lot of time , but I did'nt mind . It's glorious to serve others !

I though I was served for Ms.hardly was very significative , the reason was she always helped others . I though that help her was in the nature of things . What I needed to do was smearing the 3 different color dopes . The color were white,green and brown .The problem was I only did this job once , I did it for 3 hours , it was from 10 o'clock to 13 o'clock . I couldn't upload the photos to verify because Ms. mitchtrich took a photo of our whole persons ! And I do not have it ! That was too regretful .

The last volunteer work I did was the most important for me . It was in an new drivers' school , and the principal was very happy that I could help her to clean the dirty ground , I made it by twe steps :Watering and sweeping . The detailed information was : At first , I used the water to 'erode' the ash , you know I should do it because it had too much ash there . Then , I swept the ground , I used up my least 3 hours to do it . You could see it in my photos .

Nice vacation , nice things I did , the significative things ...

The physical activity

What I have done of my physical activity was interesting and plenary , my favorite sports were ping-pong ball , badminton and tennis ball . What I have to do now is telling the truth about my phsical work .

Oh , first I will tell you the ping-pong ball . You know , ping-pong is the national sport of China , so many Chinese people play it well . However , I do not like it very much and play it not very well , I play it because it is easy and convenient for me . When did I play ping-pong ? I played it during the first 10 days of December . At that time , I played it with my best friend Sam , 10-C , his Chinese name was Liu Chang .We played ping-pong after 5 o'clock each afternoon . I think that time I should remember profoundly , the time could not be recurrenced . We usually played ping-pong ball for 1 to 2 hours each time . Generally , the winner was Sam , he played ping-pong ball often in his childhood .I liked ping-pong , and I liked my best friend - Sam .

The scond activity which I have done was badminton . Ha , to me surprise , I played just 2 times and I could play it well . It is so easy for everyone to do it . I played badminton many times , but on this vacation , I only played it with my younger brother-Du Yang . He is 12 years old and very outgoing , he can talk with you to make you laugh until you can not say anything . Tell you the truth , he played badminton badly . Our points were changed between 12:3 and 12:6 , certainly I was the winner . The bad news were I could not play with him , for he in Shan Xi province . Oh , we played badminton twice , the first time was on Feb5th , the secong time was on Feb 6th . You know what , I liked him except his study , he was No.52 of 71 people in his class , it's a big problem for him . I hope that he can be better about his subjects .

Let me tell you the last physical activity I have done . It's tennis ball , It's boring that I could only play it myself . I only hit it ,hit it ,till the ball back , I hit it . I know it practice my sport skill , but I do not like it at all . The truth was we do not have a ground to play tennis , all of my friends did not like it , and my family only have one tennis racket , I played it twice on this vacation , though I was so bored , I have to do it because of my phsical activity time-10 hours !

Finally , I want to say , I have done this mission of me , I can play sports remorselessly , I can make it .

The foreign restaurant

At first , what I need to tell you is the things we have done in this 'Ta Ke' restaurant . And , the next thing must be foreign table manners . Finally , I also have to tell you my learning from this special dinner .

Now , do you know what I ate in the restaurant ? I have to give you some interpretation about it . The normal food we have ate was called 'Taco' , maybe this name was so strange to your listening , so I am . Also , we have see the special meal 'Chawindaca' , I do not understand if it could be a course , the funny thing is : I was the person who bought this kind of food , it is just 5 big , and dark beefsteak , I am sorry about what I am saying is not enough for the description of the meals . However , I think you ate them most time in your home , so I might say something wrong . Listening carefully , the last and the most delicious food was the 'Chilaqules' , I had a photo about it . As what you see , maybe it had some rise and beef on it , and special bechamelcatchup , oh , and special feeling .

I think I did not learn something about the table manners . At first , which person told us this ? The waiters?No no no . And the friends ? Of course not . Why I said this ? Because the waiters did not know it at all , they were not knowledgeable . Our classmates just talk about the stars or the cool clothes . I only got the information a little from Jennifer , who has lived outside of China several years . She told me that the most important manners I need to pay attention to are : Do not smoke at the dinner , Ha, I did not smoke at all . Never... always(Never smoke , always remember this) . And you are not allowed to take food for other people . The final thing is do not drink alcohol , you are not a man now . In fact , you are not on the legal dringing age .

From all of this , I had found that we should do something better about the dinner , certainly with our friends . Maybe we were very young in the socialty , but what I want want to say is : Trying not to be pretentious , most of our friends had a complacement face . I want to say : Do not do this , whenever you in the 'real' socialty , you could you have done many things wrong , do not either drink wines or smoke , this was the bad habit for callan , got it ? Ok , I can be more outgoing and friendly whis others . This was what I need after the 'restaurant' teaching .

The critique work of LU XUN

I think this sculture of Lu Xun is very true to nature।It looks like a polygon that has many deep edges , and has many sharp points ।We all know that if a statue of a person's face ,we need curved, straight, short and long lively lines , they all are in Lu Xun's face! The curved long lines depict its figure , and short lively sides fill its face । What an inflexible litterateur ! Because it's made of bronze , the color is green and a bit of blue । When I touched his face , I felt that it's an empty metal , my hand was cold and felt stiff .

I could see Lu Xun's belief in this artwork: Never give up , struggle for the new nation । This country can be rescued from me .

Also , I felt excited when I saw this sculture , for it gave me the strong will , I can think about the soldiers , because from Lu Xun's eye , the soldiers are protecting our country । If we didn't have them , we can't get the new life like this now , or I can think of myself , I also want to be best in the world , but I can't , I have no confidence । Adopting this artwork also tells us about how the new China has rise sharply । The Chinese people are not to be bullied any longer , tell the world loudly !

Maybe the sculptor Wu Wei Shan wants to tell us to do work better to achieve the dreams , and try our best to make China stronger , protecting our Chinese dignity .

It's well-known that I like this artwork very much , because of its theme । As for an Chinese people , we should know the mission of us , and our behaviour . I think the eyes and the behaviour made me feel this way . You see , Lu Xun's eyes look resolute , he can do anything for the Chinese revolution . He is a great litterateur , and he does great undertaking . The behaviour , walking in big steps , is representing that he never gives up , he can do the mission without changing .

I think other people may not appreciate the artwork . Because this century's people are bad , they need the artwork to remind them of the morals of civilization , they just think about themselves , the money , their boyfriends or girlfriends , but not the country's dignity and mission . So , maybe have some people to appreciate this , but I can tell you : just a few .
